Our History
We Shine & Go Co. was founded by Louise Maguire, a trained nurse, in 2021. Louise lives in Burren with her husband Patrick, children Kayleigh and Tiernan and three, slightly mad, Jack Russells.
Louise started off cleaning for domestic clients in the local area and soon employed several people to help her as the demand was so high. We Shine & Go Co. has been growing organically ever since, and the company now has a team of over 25 members.
However, Louise is never happy to rest on her laurels and having spotted a gap in the market, she completed her Biohazard Training last year and is now fully qualified to offer specialised cleaning services.
In addition, Louise is fully NEBOSH (National Examination Board in Occupational Safety and Health) trained, a course which truly compliments the Biohazard side of the business.
In 2024 the company established on office in Newry at the WIN Business Park, to provide support to the team and clients.
Our Process
When you are looking for either a domestic, corporate or specialised clean, our process is always as follows:
Enquiry - get in touch with us, and we will help guide you towards the appropriate service for the job.
Site assessment - we will visit you, complete a full cleaning needs assessment and create a plan of action for you. We will discuss this plan with you to ensure that you are happy with it.
The cleaning phase – we will carry out all the required services in the allocated time frame. If the job takes longer than anticipated, then we will discuss this with you. We will never just ‘leave’ a job unfinished or take longer without communicating with you.
After care - we are always on hand for any further questions or queries.
Our Team
We are immensely proud of the team of cleaners we have built. Our staff retention rates are excellent, and our cleaners are reliable, trustworthy and highly experienced.
Our cleaners join our company from a variety of backgrounds including nurses, carers, speech and language professionals and classroom assistants. We have many team members who are studying for degree qualifications.
Our team members love to look after people, especially the elderly and vulnerable who love the social interaction provided within the service.
